Weekends

Oh busy days! All of our weekends in June have been spoken for, which is exciting and exhausting. We had a memorial for my uncle on the first Saturday of the month {he passed away in April} and my aunt flew out from Florida to attend. We went to church with her the following weekend; I loved getting to reconnect with her and learn that she's not as crazy as I grew up thinking. The best part though was that she's a Catholic convert like me so we really connected over that little fact.

This upcoming weekend we're off to attend the long-anticipated wedding of my oldest friend. We've been packing, repacking, unpacking and then packing again {the baby thinks packing is a game} for a few days now and I still have a few things to do. Some of the major ones are bake cookies tonight and tomorrow.

And the last weekend in June is gonna be a long one; we have a giant sale going on at our store, a barn dance and then my mom's birthday on Sunday along with a belated Father's Day celebration. So that's gonna be fun. And of course, the weekend after that is Independence Day.

In between all these weekends and packing, unpacking, baking, etc. I started reading two books, was introduced to a new YouTube channel called Mathias, and we took the baby down to the local pool for the first time this season. She loved it so much that she got mad at us for taking her out of the water when she started shivering. Silly baby. :)

See ya around!
