A Walk with Mummy

It had been raining all week in early December so Baby and I decided that we needed some fresh air when we finally had a break. And while Daddy was off at work, we bundled up and headed out for a walk.

We saw lots of pretty sights and quite a gorgeous view.

It was all cold, wet and another storm was rolling in.

The irrigation canal was full of water, which the baby liked.

And there was some lovely moss everywhere. I love the moss.

And of course, the baby was super cute that day.

But I wouldn't let her hold the camera.

She had to have a nap when we got back home.

My husband started a new full time where he's gone all day Monday through Friday. So on the first full weekend he had at home, he and the baby had some catching up to do. {The dates on the pictures might not be correct}.

They stayed in bed late

And he tickled her feet.

Apparently after awhile, this got a little annoying so they had to find something else to do.

So they made faces at each other

And had to be sent outside for some fresh air. *smiles*

"Uh-oh, I'm caught!"

"Um, there's no one else to blame. I wonder how to get out of this?"

"Oh, I know! Start crawling across the bed and look innocent."

"There. They'll never know I was up to mischief cause I'm just so cute."

Mmmmm, Cookie!

We had some chocolate chip cream cheese cookies left over from Thanksgiving and the baby decided to try one. When I came back from the kitchen, she was standing on the bed raiding my dresser again with chocolate smeared all over her face. Such a cutie. She posed for a picture and then proceeded to reach for the camera. I cleaned her off later and hid the cookies.

Cookies are delicious when they're homemade.

Thanksgiving Day 2014

While this Thanksgiving wasn't as big a production as in the past, it was Baby's first though and she had a blast, making it a very exciting day.

Grandma dug out and cleaned up the old saucer that my siblings and I all used, and we stuck Baby in it for the first time. She spent a good five minutes examining each individual toy before she figured out she could jump, bounce and spin in it. This is gonna be a favorite toy of hers for awhile.

She had a lot of fun binge-eating cherry tomatoes, licking a piece of turkey and throwing the bell peppers on the floor.

Grandma though she looked really cute in our old highchair too.

And after dinner, the cameras came out and the baby demanded to have her picture taken by daddy.

She looks like a pirate in this picture.

Overall, a very fun happy day with lots of wine to relax everyone. *wink*
