Ya know how there are always those random, seemingly unconnected pictures on the camera that aren't part of any event, just day to day life? Well, this post contains some of those type of pictures for you. Don't worry; there's a bit of organization here. They're all animal or plant related. Ish. Anyway, to the pictures!
This was a little baby frog we'd found at....some point in time.
My husband was fascinated by the tiny frog.
This is a full-grown tree frog we found while watering the plants at my folks' store.
He was asleep when we found him.
My birthday rose! Quick update on that: all my roses on it for some reason died so we took it up to my folks' last week, transplanted it and then....forgot it. *facepalm* When we visit again we will retrieve the poor thing and bring it back home. I hope the roses come back.
This was a really funky looking squash at the local market. We knew it wasn't a green pumpkin but beyond that, we were clueless. We texted the picture to my mom who told us what it was. I can't remember what she said though. It still looks neat, doesn't it?
Recently, while watering the same plants at my folks' store, we found a cute little snail with beautiful markings.

On our way home last week, we spotted this doe hanging out near the road. She was very close {all things considered} so we snapped a picture and then moved on before she could jump out in front of us or get spooked in any other way.
And this is a gorgeous peacock, one of the locals we keep seeing around the place.
