My mother-in-law sent a bunch of Christmas presents this year and one got here early.
The baby really loved it! Among the other presents she got from Meme` was a Peter Rabbit chew toy, some warm pajamas, a cute snowsuit and a lovely dress pictured below.
On Christmas eve we let the baby "open" one present and had fun sticking the bows on her head, to her amusement.
After church with my family, we got home and stuck the duck in the oven before getting to the rest of our presents. Aside from lots of socks and a hat from her parents, the baby also got a pop-up Peter Rabbit book and some fun presents from her Aunty Ella.
While "opening" them, she became enthralled with my new tea strainer from Ella as well.
When she was done with that, she got back to her other presents.
She found a cute new mouse to play with.
And a ball that she new thoroughly loves!
I wore my Christmas dress from the previous year, with my new dagger stuck in the belt.
And my husband got me the Q&A journal I'd really wanted!
He got a drink mixer and the new CD he'd been wanting for months. He was pretty tickled about that.
Less tickled when he saw all the lipstick marks on his face after I snapped this picture.
And then we had a round of chocolate and baby selfies!
Then afterwards, we had to play with our new Peter Rabbit chew toy before going to bed.
She wore her new dress for church that Sunday.
It fits her really well and she loves it! Not bad for Baby's first Christmas.
